Religious Pluralism and Common Citizenship


<p><em>Niqab! Kirpan! Eruv!</em> What do these terms signify? The next Centre for Global Challenges conference will debate religious pluralism and immigration.<br /><br />All members of the Glendon community are invited to attend this event. It will be transmitted via live feed from Qu&eacute;bec, next Thursday (January 27), from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM in the Senate Chamber. You are welcome to attend a part of the conference or stay for the entire duration. The audience at Glendon will be able to pose questions to the panelists via email.<br /><br />Moderating the panels are: <strong>Paul-Andr&eacute; Comeau</strong>, Professor, &Eacute;cole nationale d&rsquo;administration publique and former Editor in Chief of <em>Le Devoir</em>; <strong>Paul Wells</strong>, Senior Columnist, <em>Maclean&rsquo;s</em> and <strong>Don Newman</strong>, Chair, Canada 2020 and former Senior Parliamentary Editor of CBC TV.<br /><br />Conference panelists include:</p>
